Geipel Helles Doppelbock

Doppelbock is one of the most flavourful and potent lager styles. It's a special treat, so we created this one-off brew to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The recipe was based on our multi-award winning Bock but uses a lighter malt to avoid overwhelming malt flavours. The result is a complex sweetness perfectly balanced with noble German hops. It was lagered for more than six months resulting in a delicious smooth brew that doesn't taste as strong as it is...be careful!
